I've been silent for a while because I've been quite busy. October term started and I'm taking my first 3D Modeling class and a Color Theory class. They're fun classes, but I'm probably going to lose my 4.0 this term. My Color Theory teacher doesn't seem fond of giving A's. Oh well. I've got too much stuff to do to worry about it any longer.
Survived yet another Black Friday at Michaels. For some inane reason he had me working the front end for eight hours, but aside from the god-awful aching feet it was an interesting change of pace. One lady gave me a hug because I gave her a discount on a Cricut machine she'd apparently been wanting for... ever, according to her daughter. The bitchy people didn't come to my line until the end of my shift, or maybe by then I was just too tired to be nice. Either way. It's over now and coming up here soon I'm going to take a mini-vacation before Steph goes on her week-long hiatus she takes every year.
The biggest news though is that I got a job working as a writer/designer for Rogue Dao Studios, a high-profile modding team creating the Planescape Trilogy using the Electron Toolset. www.theplanescapetrilogy.com I've been getting a lot of good experience and it's been a very enjoyable time working for them. It's non-paid, of course, but I believe it will lead to very big things. Already I am prepping to submit an application to Bioware Austin for a writing position. You can check out my portfolio site here. Currently I'm working on writing a demo module for that job application packet and figuring out what to do with the plot for Purgatorio since it's apparently needing to be re-written.

Subscription!
Whoever bought me a one month subscription is a real sweetheart. Thanks so much! I can't seem to tell who it is through any of these little admin panel things. Does anyone know how to do that?
I get the feeling I know who it is, since there's one person in particular that was around here on the day it happened, around the time it happened.
Tagged
So I have been tagged by not one, but two vixens. And I will participate, but I think everyone I could tag has probably been tagged already! So I'm going to break the rules a bit and wait to select my 8 people.
So, let's see if I can actually get 8 interesting facts about myself.
1. I was born on Friday, December the 13th, 1985. Black cats galore!
2. Every weekday when I'm not working I like to flip the TV on while I tackle schoolwork. I keep it on TNT for a solid six hours! Two hours of Charmed followed by two hours of ER followed by an hour of Without a Trace and an hour of Judging Amy.
3. I have mild OCD. Mostly it's triggered in regar
August Term
Been another two months since I posted an update. As always, things were busy with the end of the term. I posted both of my final projects here though so you can have a look if you haven't already. This term I'm taking:
Intro to Business
Character Design and Development
Psychology
I'll be posting some Character Design and Development stuff here, but only the finished stuff. If you want to see more of it, I'm keeping a thread over at SMMO. http://www.studiommo.com/studio/viewtopic.php?t=27474
I started up a blog for folks trying to break into the game industry. http://gamecareer.blogspot.com . I haven't had time to update it recently, but
A Few More Updates
The CSS is finalized, and I figured out which div class to use to get the text at a smaller size. I may make a new class, since I'm not terribly fond of that formatting, but for now it's going to stay like this. So now the features section is up and ready to go! And look, it even has something in it.
Right now I'm featuring the art of fellow Westwood students enrolled in the Game Art and Design program. If anyone popping by is a GAD student that I don't yet have friended, please let me know and I will remedy that and feature 3 of your pieces. Again, I don't get tons of traffic, but I admire my peers and I just wanted to push some of your wor

You are my hero! I want your work ethic, but I don't want to put forth any effort to attain it.
